Wonderfully Made

Have you ever looked closely at a flower?
Some are tiny. Some are huge. Some have bright petals, while others are soft and delicate. Some bloom in the spring, and others wait until summer or fall.
They don't all look the same—and they aren't supposed to.
God created each one with incredible detail. And do you know what else He created with even greater care?
You.
The Bible says:
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14 NKJV
Before anyone else ever knew you, God knew you. He knows every little detail about you—the color of your eyes, the sound of your laugh, the things that make you smile, and the gifts He placed inside you.
There has never been another you. And there never will be.
When the Bible says you are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” it means God made you with incredible care and purpose. You aren't here by accident. You are the work of a Creator who knows exactly what He is doing.

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works.”

Significance

Every flower begins as something small.
A seed may not look like much, but God already knows exactly what He created it to become. With time, water, sunlight, and care, what was hidden inside begins to grow.
God is doing something beautiful in you, too.
Psalm 139 tells us that God knows us completely. He doesn't just see who you are today—He knows who He created you to become.
You are one of God's wonderful works.
And just like a flower was created to bloom, you were created to grow, love, serve, and show the world the goodness of the One who made you.

Application

Go outside and see how many different flowers, leaves, plants, or trees you can find. Look closely at the colors, shapes, sizes, and tiny details God created.
Then grab a piece of paper and draw your own “God's Garden.” Fill it with flowers of different colors, shapes, patterns, and sizes.
Inside each flower, write or draw something God has placed in you or something He is helping you grow in:
I am kind.
I am creative.
I am brave.
I am helpful.
I love others.
I can encourage people.
I am growing in faith.
In the middle of the garden, write:
I AM WONDERFULLY MADE.
Hang your garden somewhere you'll see it and remember: God made you with care, He is helping you grow, and He has a purpose for your life.

GUIDED PRAYER

Dear God,
Thank You for making me with so much care and for knowing every little thing about me.
Thank You for the gifts You have given me and for the ways You are helping me grow. Teach me to love You, follow You, serve others, and become the person You created me to be.
Help me remember that I am one of Your wonderful works and that You made my life with purpose.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
