He is Risen

God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and was placed in a tomb. On the third day, the stone was rolled away — Jesus rose from the grave. The tomb was empty. Death was defeated. Jesus is alive.

Significance

The resurrection of Jesus is the center of our faith. When Jesus rose from the dead,
He defeated sin and death and made a way for us to be forgiven. Because He lives, we
can be made new and have eternal life with God. Easter reminds us that Jesus is alive — and through Him, we have hope that lasts forever.

Application

Because Jesus is risen, we can live with hope and confidence. When we believe in Jesus, our sins are forgiven and we are welcomed into God’s family. We don’t have to live in fear or shame — we can walk boldly, trusting that Jesus is alive and with us every day.

GUIDED PRAYER

Dear God,
Thank You for loving us and sending Jesus.
Thank You that Jesus died for our sins and rose again.
We believe that Jesus is alive.
Help us trust Him and follow Him every day.
